Position: Medical Assistant/Scribe

Description:

We are a small private practice ENT office seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
• Record patient medical histories and vital signs
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries
• Transcribe medical notes and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification

Previous experience in an ENT or similar medical setting

Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
